SAN ANTONIO, TX, February 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) After a regional talent search, it's time to meet the teens who will bring the excitement of #sateenscene to #goodjobtexasjr!
The only news show in San Antonio created by, for, and about teens, #sateenscene puts young people in the driver's seat to explore the latest news and issues for teenagers in the San Antonio area. The show will join the lineup on #goodjobtexasjr on Saturday, February 9, with a special Valentine's Day episode featuring pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen.
The search for SA's newest #teensceners began in December, as teens from across South Texas came to Studio 14 Hundred in San Antonio for an open casting call. After an intense selection process, the correspondents returned to the studio for an orientation session, polishing their on-camera skills before a panel of news industry professionals.
Now, #sateenscene is excited to announce its new team of anchors and correspondents:
* Brennan Loy, the show's Chief Correspondent
* James Brown
* George De Leon
* Elora
* Jacqueline Mittlestadt
Each week, the show's anchors, and a team of more than a dozen reporters, will explore the latest in music, fashion, events, and issues for teenagers in the San Antonio area.
As Loy says, "We're really excited by the response to #sateenscene. We have a great group of teens, and we're all working hard to put together a fantastic show. So we hope you'll all tune in to see the results!"
