PERTH, AUSTRALIA, October 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) One of Western Australia's most prestigious and long-running country events is set to take place towards the end of next month.
The Wanneroo Agricultural Show, which was first held more than 100 years ago, will run between November 26th and 27th 2010 and is a must-see for anyone staying in Perth hotels at the time.
A wide array of entertainment is typically arranged by organisers and this year is no different, with talent shows, live music and circus acts included on the packed bill.
Auditions for the 2010 Wanneroo Agricultural Show Idol will kick off the proceedings on Friday November 26th, while a trapeze artist and the North Metro Pipe Band are just some of the acts set to appear.
Furthermore, fireworks will be launched on both evenings in what often proves to be one of the highlights of the occasion, with the organisers promising the display will be "bigger and more spectacular than ever" this year.
People keen to attend should book nearby accommodation - such as one of the cheap hotels Perth has available - as soon as possible, as more than 20,000 visitors headed to last year's show.
The event runs between 16:00 and 22:30 local time on the opening night and from 09:00 to 22:30 on the Saturday.
Tickets cost A$12 for adults and A$5 for five to 15-year-olds.
For more information on this event, visit the Wanneroo Agricultural Show website or contact the organisers on (+61) 8 9306 3720.
