ERIE, PA, February 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI) is now offering an intrinsically safe level control device. The device, part number 8759, features NAMUR certified components and is ideal for vibratory feeding applications used in hazardous environments that utilize hoppers and conveyors.
Level control devices are used in conjunction with vibratory bowl feeders and parts hoppers to maintain a predetermined level of parts in a vibratory feeder bowl. It can be used to remotely operate hoppers, conveyors, and other electrical devices.
According to Wikipedia, "The principle behind intrinsic safety is to ensure that the available electrical and thermal energy in the system is always low enough that ignition of the hazardous atmosphere cannot occur. This is achieved by ensuring that only low voltages and currents enter the hazardous area, and that no significant energy storage is possible."
"Intrinsic safety is a concern for many of our customers," explains Dallas Holmes, Designer/Supervisor at ADI. "The 8759 is designed for intrinsically safe applications to minimize the risk of spark ignition," explains Holmes. "This level control switch offers ease of usability and is a viable option when sparks igniting are a concern."
The benefits to the new model include compact size, 24 Volt, DC/110/24 VAC and zero force actuation, which is ideal for maintaining control of light parts and keeping the paddle portion of the switch in a frictionless vertical position. "This model also comes equipped with a Galvanic Isolator (an optically isolated relay) in any voltage," says Holmes.
Automation Devices Inc. produces a full line of tooled and untooled vibratory feeders and components including level control switches, hoppers and inline feeders. They are located in Fairview, Pa just outside of Erie. They can be contacted at 814-474-5561 or view ADI products and services at http://www.autodev.com

Fox Symes Providing Professional Budgeting Advice to Australians
2013-02-14
It is becoming far too simple to apply for excess loan amounts and receive grants on credit card extensions today, ultimately increasing interest paid on those sums and generating higher debt amounts then people originally held. There would be countless reasons why people bury themselves in more debt, however, the end result tends to create more unnecessary stress than the previous month held as the total debt amount has heavily increased and people seem to be spiralling backwards, rather than moving forward.
Recent events such as the extensive job cuts within the Queensland ...
