COLLINGWOOD, ON, CANADA, February 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Pooches are wagging their tails all over the Georgian Triangle because the much anticipated Dogs We Love, a fresh food and bakery specializing in fresh food for dogs, is now open for business. Dogs We Love is the most recent retail addition to Collingwood's premier shopping center, Cranberry Mews.
Dogs We Love offers homemade meals for dogs using quality and locally grown ingredients. This is the second location - the first operating in Orangeville, Ont., - for this unique baked good specialty store. Also onsite is a bakery and a retail space offering special treats for pups that include healthy snacks, dishes and accessories.
"We are very proud of the quality of food we prepare and serve," says Lucy Lehman, owner. "In addition to the delicious meatloaf our canine friends can't get enough of, we have lots of free advice for dog owners."
The proprietors, Bob and Lucy Lehman, were able to take advantage of a special pricing incentive offered to new tenants who sign a lease in this lifestyle-centric retail center in Collingwood, Ont.
Foremost Cranberry Mews Limited Partnership, the landlord for Cranberry Mews, is offering new tenants a $15,000 incentive that can be used to offset expenses from construction to refurbishment/leasehold improvement costs.
"This location is ideal for the target customer base we want to attract," says Lehman. "Along with a great location, the financial incentive fit perfectly with our plans to expand our business. We looked at other areas around Ontario, but we were convinced that Cranberry Mews - and Collingwood - was the best place for us to open our second store."
"This incentive is a tempting offer to anyone considering a new business opportunity or relocation to this area," says Andres Paara, broker, Royal Lepage Locations North, Brokerage. "We have 850 feet of frontage along busy highway 26, with more 18,000 commuter vehicles travelling right by the centre each day. There really isn't a better location for a business in this area."
Only three retail spaces remain in Cranberry Mews, ranging from 1,502 to 1,652 square feet and feature all the modern conveniences of a newly constructed building. Available units are priced from $13 to $14 per square foot and come with paint-ready walls, concrete floors and a wheelchair accessible washroom, in addition to the cost savings associated with a brand new building featuring the latest in heating and cooling systems.
By virtue of its location in Cranberry Village, Cranberry Mews is also a strong tourist location, offering tremendous convenience to guests at nearby hotels and resorts, all within walking distance.
About Cranberry Mews
Cranberry Mews is operated by Foremost Financial Corporation, a Toronto-based real estate lender and financier with over 20 years of operating experience. Is Poetry Still For Lovers?
2013-02-16
"Is poetry still for lovers?" asks inspirational author and first time published poet Justin C. Hart. "If you ask me," he continues, "the fiery love and passion burning within today's poets have somehow decreased to a mere billow of smoke." On Hart's behalf, he might be right. There was a time in poetic history when poetry was its own language. Considering the liberty of publication in the 21st century, there are currently more writers than ever before, but is poetry still a language of its own? Are poets still romantically passionate about ...
