LONDON, ENGLAND, February 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) SMi's Pharmaceutical Portfolio and Lifecycle Management conference returns to London in April for the 8th year running. The expert speakers will explore and debate the key success factors for portfolio planning and lifecycle management.
With R&D prices skyrocketing ever higher, and the drug development industry feeling the squeeze of the recession, there is an ever-increasing need to ensure a cost-effective and efficient portfolio. The planning and preparation for each drug portfolio must be optimised to provide maximum revenue for minimum expenditure.
Key issues for discussion this year will include how to design and produce products as cost-effectively as possible, modelling techniques to predict the lifecycle of a drug, paths to market, identifying and mitigating risks, and analysing a product's commercial prospects.
Among the speaker faculty this year are:
Kimber Hardy, Head of Valuation and Analysis, Merck Serono
Lucette Doessegger, Global Head of Licensing & Early Development, F. Hoffmann-La Roche
Michel Hamende, Director, Life Cycle Management, UCB Pharma
