SARASOTA, FL, February 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) Taylor Morrison recently celebrated the opening of its new Amenity Center at Esplanade Golf & Country Club with exotic flair. Visitors enjoyed tropical refreshments, live island music and performances by hula dancers. In addition to admiring the new Amenity Center, attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility, grounds and furnished models on the property. This event served a dual purpose by marking the one-year anniversary of Esplanade Golf & Country Club at Lakewood Ranch, the only active lifestyle community in Lakewood Ranch and the opening of the highly anticipated Amenity Center.

The approximately 6,000-square-foot Amenity Center is home to a state-of-the-art fitness and aerobics facility, grand ballroom, billiard room with library, cards and crafts room, and catering kitchen. The outside space is equally well appointed, with a beautiful lagoon-style and lap pool, resistance pool, and spa with an expansive lanai with covered seating. There is an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit with seating and barbecue area, and pickle ball and bocce ball courts. A formal events lawn provides a sense of open space, while a nearby fenced bark park gives pets a place to socialize and play. There is even an adventure playground.
Esplanade Golf & Country Club at Lakewood Ranch has a full-time Lifestyle Director on staff to plan events, outings and activities for residents and their guests. As a maintenance-free community, residents have more leisure time to enjoy neighborhood amenities and the many attractions found in Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and the surrounding Tampa Bay area.
