Sims-Lohman Acquires Babin Building Solutions' Cabinet and Countertop Division

Sims-Lohman Fine Kitchens and Granite has acquired the Cabinet and Countertop Division of Babin Building Solutions of Cleveland, Ohio.

CLEVELAND, OH, February 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Sims-Lohman Fine Kitchens and Granite announces the acquisition of the Cabinet and Countertop Division of Babin Building Solutions, effective February 8, 2013.

Sims-Lohman is a regional leader in the distribution of cabinets and the fabrication of granite and other countertop offerings for the kitchen and bath industry. Sims-Lohman currently serves the Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Indianapolis and Lafayette markets, and this acquisition allows the company to also provide exceptional service to the Cleveland market.

Sims-Lohman will continue to operate the former Babin showroom at 4101 Royalton Road in Broadview Heights. The Elyria showroom at 5240 Detroit Road will re-open in March after the completion of renovations. Sims-Lohman is also evaluating options for an east side showroom which would be targeted to open this summer.

Many Babin sales representatives will remain part of the new Sims-Lohman team. The company also announces the addition of Tim Bretz and Doug Page, both industry veterans with more than 40 years of combined experience, to the Cleveland sales group.
