FORT MYERS, FL, October 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Naples Spa & Pool Service Company, The Pool Pros Golf Team came back to defend their title this year in the Allan Fox Golf Classic, which took place on October 15th at the Fort Myers Country Club. The Pool Pros claimed victory, with one of their teams as the "Overall Winning Team" two years in a row. They also managed to defend their title in style, with both of the Pool Pros teams winning as "Best Dressed" teams. As Pool Pros Owner, Joe Mitchell stated, "It's not how well you play, but how good you look - it's all about the image!"
Playing for Pool Pros this year were:
Team 1 - David Malt, Rokki, Rogan, Dr. Norm Arons, and John Mounce
Team 2 (Overall Winning Team) -Nolan Henke, Lance Allen, Matt Belcastro, and Scott Pfeiffer
"We are very proud of our teams' efforts to defend the Pool Pros winning title two years in a row," said Joe Mitchell. "Pool Pros sponsored the Allan Fox Classic in an effort to support the Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and our business community. It was very rewarding to also be able to take home the winning title!"
The golf tournament was a "Best Ball Scramble" with some very impressive hole-in-one prize giveaways, including the construction of a new swimming pool from Pool Pros, a new motorcycle from Harley Davidson, and a car from John Scanlon. Following the tournament, golfers enjoyed a cocktail and awards ceremony to celebrate.
Dave Douglas PE, of David Douglas Associates, played an integral part in putting together this year's Golf Classic tournament for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. Joe Mitchell even bestowed on him a Pool Pros Team Golf shirt, making him an honorary team member.
