CINCINNATI, OH, March 01, 2013 (Press-News.org) Polymet Corporation, a world-class manufacturer of wire for hardfacing, welding, and thermal spraying, has received the Snecma Group - SAFRAN Laboratory Qualification Certificate.
This certificate awards Polymet with captive laboratory approval for IAW Snecma procedures GRP 0125 and PRO-0430. This will allow Polymet to certify DMR 34 approved materials. The certification also adds Polymet to the list of approved suppliers to provide contributing materials for welding in accordance with DMR 34.
The Quality Manager at Polymet, Jim Danbury, stated that, "This approval from Snecma will increase our certification capabilities for global wire consumers needing DMR certified wire - we are now an approved supplier for materials in accordance with DMR 34." As a company that was founded on providing materials for the aerospace industry, Polymet continues to recognize and understand the importance of quality in products and laboratory testing.
