Permitting Process Is Underway at New Rosedale Links

The development process is well underway at Rosedale Golf & Country Club, now that Manatee County officials have approved the plat for the new phase known as Rosedale Links. Of the 224 homesites that have been platted, 162 have been spoken for by the approved builders. The new phase will contain a total of 445 homesites when completed.

Builders have submitted 23 homes for permitting - some to be used as models and others for inventory or with sales pending. M/I Homes will have two models and Ashton Woods Homes will have three, with a combined ten inventory homes between them. John Cannon has applied for one model permit with more planned. Rosedale Construction will apply for three permits, one for a model and two inventory homes as well as an additional five permits for current sales.

Rosedale Golf and Country Club is an award-winning golf community established in eastern Manatee County in 1993. Plans for Rosedale Links call for 445 single-family homes on an adjacent 237-acre property, with the expansion to be designed and built in keeping with the natural beauty and mature woodlands of the existing community.

The initial phase of construction at Rosedale Links will be launched with home sizes starting at 1,700 square feet. Links residents will have full access to all the amenities offered to Rosedale residents, including the opportunity to purchase golf and tennis memberships. Social memberships will be mandatory with every home purchase. Rosedale's 18-hole championship golf course is semi-private and has been named "Best Golf Course" by the Bradenton Herald for the last three years. An on-site golf academy is also available for personal instruction and clinics. The newly remodeled 22,000-square-foot clubhouse offers full-service dining, a fitness center and Junior Olympic swimming pool, meeting space, a private members' lounge, snack bar, patio dining and a 19th Hole. For those who enjoy tennis, there are five Har-Tru courts and a full-time pro to organize tournaments, leagues and lessons.
