DataON Storage Adds VP Business Development to Boost Channel Sales

ANAHEIM, CA, March 07, 2013 (Press-News.org) DataON Storage, a leading provider of OS-Agnostic storage enclosures, announces that storage industry veteran Trenton R. Baker joins the company as VP of business development.

Baker will spearhead the initiative to secure strategic partnerships that will strengthen DataON's positioning as the preferred provider of enterprise-class external storage JBODs, optimize and accelerate the company's long-term growth, and tasked with increasing channel partner relationships for the Nexenta and Microsoft storage markets.

Baker brings 15 years of server and storage marketing experience, and an extensive background in Software-defined Storage. Most recently, he served as the Sr. Program and Partner for Nexenta Systems, where he began in 2011. His responsibilities included; alliance partner marketing development, department budget planning, product marketing, events/tradeshow management, and lead generation.

Previously Baker spent 13 years in various storage-centric roles from SEO management to director of marketing with a proven track record of achieving results in product integration with partners, marketing communications, and public relations.
Trenton holds BA in Business Administration, Marketing as well as a BA degree in Sociology from California State University Fullerton.
