MESA, AZ, March 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) Whether you are going to the prom, a wedding, quinceañera or just want to look and feel great for less, ITS Academy of Beauty, 200 Southwest C Ave. in Lawton is offering a $35 Prom Package now through April 30.
The package includes: haircut; shampoo and deep conditioner; style with plain manicure and pedicure; as well as a relaxing facial including make-up. For an additional $10 clients can add tip overlay for their manicure.
"Few people will walk the red carpet at the Oscar's or Emmy's, but by taking advantage of our prom package our valued clients can have a chance to look and feel like a movie star," said Jessica Wolman, one of the owners of the award-winning cosmetology school.
"Also cosmetology is a rewarding career that offers flexibility, creativity and greater employability than many other professions throughout the U.S.," added Margie Wisniski, vice president of operations. "We invite anyone interested in learning more about cosmetology or aesthetics to make an appointment and take a tour of one of any of our schools and see what sets it apart from the rest."
Students perform the services under the supervision of a licensed instructor. No appointment is necessary, however customers should call to allow enough time for all services to be performed.
ITS Academy of Beauty schools provides students with a distinguished environment that mirrors many of the upscale salons that will employ the cosmetology students after they graduate and earn their cosmetology license.
According to a U.S. News and World Report hairdresser is cited as one of the best jobs of 2012. In a March 21, 2012 article in USA Today, beauty salon sales grew 5.4 %.4 in the last two years vs. a 2.3% sales increase in 2009. With the Bureau of Labor Statistics projections of 15.7% employment growth expected by 2020, the future of hair salons and the future of hair stylists should continue to grow.
In addition to the award-winning cosmetology school in Lawton the company owns and operates ITS Academy of Beauty schools in Texas, Olympian University in New Mexico, International Academy of Hair Design in Arizona and Hair Benders Academy in Longwood, Florida.
