Authors Shocked to Find Latest Cyber Terrorism Headlines Mimic Their New Novel

First-time authors of compelling new cyber thriller shocked that recent news headlines mimic their original story.

2013-03-16
BOSTON, MA, March 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Michelle Obama and Joe Biden's Social Security numbers, dates of birth and other important information have been reportedly stolen. A Chinese Army Unit has been suspected to have attacked and penetrated The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post's internal networks; and Twitter, Facebook, Apple and Google have all recently admitted to security breaches.

First-time authors John & Caitlin Stuart, the father/daughter co-authors of Hiding in Sunshine, a compelling new novel of suspense and treachery in the murky world of cyber terrorism and identity theft, did a virtual double take as headline after headline so closely parallels their fictional book. The engaging novel with its timely plot follows an American family on the run for 11 years, with complicated relationships and the topical nature of the technological threat they face lending urgency to the story.

Can calls from Hollywood agents be far behind?

Hiding in Sunshine has received several excellent reviews from the most recognized book review journals including:

Kirkus Review
"A riveting tale of an innocent family on the run. The Stuarts, a father-and-daughter team, create a fast-paced and gripping tale of intrigue and suspense, heightening the tension as the storyline advances. This is an all-too-realistic tale of cyber-terrorism," Hiding in Sunshine has attracted four stars from various websites including several Washington DC colleges and universities with departments specializing in cyber studies.

Clarion Review
Four Stars (out of Five)
"Coauthors John and Caitlin Stuart weave a suspenseful and thoughtful tale. This is an ambitious novel. The attention to detail is top-notch;...The plot is compelling and maintains reader interest. It is an effectively written, engaging novel with a thought-provoking and timely plot. It's a promising debut."

Blueink Review
"Authors John Stuart and Caitlin Stuart subtly weave the subject of American social mobility, both upward and downward, throughout the novel, giving the story great emotional resonance. The Brinkleys' loving but complicated relationships with each other are movingly and realistically rendered, and the topical nature of the technological threat they face lends urgency to the story. This is a compelling debut, and the well-drawn character of the teenage daughter could give it crossover appeal to the young adult market."

Hiding in Sunshine is available in hardcover and paperback on http://www.hidinginsunshine.com; amazon.com, bn.com. Its e-book sells for just $1.99. The novel was recently featured on national television on "The Daily Buzz."
