HOUSTON, TX, March 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) You probably think making something invisible is a product of science fiction or fantasy. Not so! When it comes to your teeth and creating the perfect smile, invisibility is reality thanks to Invisalign and Incognito technology! Your smile is a reflection of you, that's why Dr. Amir Davoody and his staff at Greater Houston Orthodontics are committed to using the best approach for making your smile the best it can be.
Brushing and Flossing
It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.
Wide Range of Treatment
Thanks to today's advances in orthodontic technology, Greater Houston Orthodontics can provide ourpatients with more options when it comes to wearing braces than ever before. While regular metal braces are still widely used, clear braces are becoming increasingly popular along with removable appliances that can be used for mild cases of misaligned teeth.
During your free initial consultation with Dr. Davoody, you'll learn more about the types of braces we offer at our office and you'll be able to determine which appliance is right for you.
Invisalign
Invisalign makes your treatment nearly invisible. Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible to the naked eye: 3-D computer technology is used to create your customized aligners. After consulting with Dr. Davoody to determine what needs to be corrected, he take impressions of your teeth and sends them to Invisalign which then uses advanced computer technology to finely calibrate a sequence of aligners needed.
Depending on your treatment plan, this could mean as few as 10 or as many as 30 aligners. You'll wear each aligner for about two weeks, taking it out for eating, brushing, and flossing. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth gradually move into the final alignment prescribed by Dr. Davoody. Office visits are required approximately every ten to twelve weeks.
Consider the Benefits
Consider the long-term benefits of using Invisalign: it's an invisible way to straighten teeth as you use a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without any metal wires or brackets. Aligners are worn sequentially, by the patient, to promote extensive tooth movements. Results don't happen overnight. Alignment is accomplished little by little, week by week, until your teeth are straightened to the final position prescribed on the upper and/or lower arches. And what's more, Invisalign is more comfortable to wear because there is no metal to cause mouth irritation.
A Perfect Smile for You
You deserve a smile that speaks positively about you. Remember, orthodontics is not just for children and teens. In fact, 1 in every 5 patients in orthodontic treatment is an adult. No one is too old for orthodontic treatment. Anti-Job Poaching Pacts in Ohio: What Do They Mean for Growing Ohio Businesses Seeking Public Tax Incentives? Ohio Tax Attorney, Dan Borsky, of EAG, LLC Explains

In the Columbus metro area, 14 communities did the same. Some challenged whether they are legally binding. Does this mean an unraveling of anti-job poaching pacts? Unfortunately, whether formal agreements proliferate or not, the new reality ...
