MAPLE GROVE, MN, March 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) Mindsharp, a SharePoint Training company, will be hosting the 2013 Best Practices Conference. This SharePoint Conference is unique because it is the only peer-sharing conference for business leaders and stakeholders. There will be over 30 speakers from well-known profit and non-profit organizations, including Don Frederiksen of H.B. Fuller. He is currently employed at H.B. Fuller in St. Paul, MN where he built the BI and Information Management teams and serves as the company's Data Architect. Don has 25 years of experience in helping people and organizations understand and maximize their technology investments.

His session topic is entitled "Show Me the Numbers: Five Principles for Creating Effective Data Visualizations." Data visualization is a key element of the current data movement and SharePoint is an important delivery vehicle for organizations looking to make sense of their data with charts and dashboards. Don will validate the important role of data visualization and provide five principles that are key to extracting value from your growing data environment. These principles will be explored with specific best practices that work.
