Louis A. Bencardino and Bencardino Excavating to Begin Work for AMTRAK Electrical Upgrades

DOLYESTOWN, PA, March 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) Louis A. Bencardino, owner of Bencardino Excavating (www.bencardino.com), a Bucks County, Pa. full-service excavating company has been hired by Vanalt Electrical Construction to manage all the excavation and concrete work at the Hamilton Sub-station in Mercer County, New Jersey.

The Hamilton Sub-station is a traction power grid operated by AMTRAK and is at the southern section of the Northeast Corridor between Washington, D.C. and New York City. The system provides power for a number of transit systems including the New Jersey Transit Rail Operations (NJT), Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and Maryland Area Regional Commuter Train (MARC).
