2013-03-30
DUNSTABLE, ENGLAND, March 30, 2013 (Press-News.org) CityStore Self Storage is pleased to announce the opening of its new self storage facility in Houghton Regis, Dunstable. This is the second storage centre within the CityStore Group with the first facility located in Camden Town which opened in 2009. The new facility on the Townsend Farm Industrial Estate will provide safe, secure storage space for both residential and commercial customers in the local areas of Dunstable and Luton.

Self storage is very popular with domestic customers as it can be used to solve many different storage problems. A common use of self storage is for people moving home. Commonly, people like to sell their current home and then take the time to look for another property rather than have to deal with the intricacies of a house moving chain that can sometimes break causing difficulties for all parties. Prior to putting their home on market, it is often advised by the presenters of programmes such as 'Location Location Location' to de-clutter with the aim of making it easier for potential purchasers to imagine themselves living in the house without the distraction of all your personal items. Due to the flexibility that self storage provides, customers can take storage for as little as one week. There is no time limit on how long goods can be stored so customers are under no pressure to vacate a unit on a particular date.

Self storage also serves a flexible and cost-effective solution for all types of business in the local area. The fact that customers are not obliged to sign a long-term lease, it gives them the ability to increase or decrease their storage requirements when necessary - even the same day if required. This flexibility, especially in times of economic uncertainty, gives business customers the confidence that they can reduce their costs easily when trading conditions are more testing and also increase their storage requirements when business improves.

Document storage is an area where CityStore provides a market leading service to both local businesses in Luton and Dunstable, as well as those further afield. CityStore offers a professional, managed, document storage service offering same day collection and retrieval to local businesses. CityStore also offers secure destruction with associated certificates which ensure that your private data has been disposed of correctly.

For students studying at the University of Bedfordshire, we provide a student storage service for the summer holidays for only GBP99. To make storing as easy as possible, CityStore will collect your goods just before you leave and then return them to you on your return.

CityStore Self Storage also sell a full range packaging materials which are available to purchase in reception. We sell five different sizes of storage box, parcel tape, furniture covers and bubble wrap to ensure that those fragile items stay protected whilst in transit. We also provide free local delivery for merchandise order over GBP50.

CityStore Self Storage in Dunstable is open from Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. To enquire about our storage prices, either call the storage centre direct on 01582 477 700 or complete the enquiry form online at http://www.citystore.ltd.uk and we will call you straight back.
