2013-04-03
ANNAPOLIS, MD, April 03, 2013 (Press-News.org) Airwave Networks, the leader in providing high speed wired and wireless internet, video and technology services to the Student Housing Industry, unveils the Airwave Illumination (Ai) platform. The Ai platform is a combination of cutting edge data and video solutions with outstanding customer service. As an integral part of this new platform, Airwave Networks introduces a new mobile (Ai) app which provides advanced resident messaging, network performance status, resident experience information and customer service metrics. "For many years, Airwave Networks has provided this information through a web based customer portal, but our focus for the Ai App was two-fold. We wanted to extend our resident messaging capability and service metrics, while also providing an intuitive customer mobile experience. The Airwave Team is very excited to be first network provider to deploy an app for this purpose," said Bill Rinard, Airwave Networks CEO.

As the student housing industry has matured, both property owners and managers have recognized the need to maintain quality Internet and video services for their residents. "While Airwave Networks manages all of these services for the communities, the informed owner and manager are increasingly seeking ways to assess the resident network experience as well as new ways to communicate with their residents. Now Airwave Networks has an app for that," said John Baloga, Airwave Networks CIO.

Airwave Networks' Ai App is currently available for iPhone and iPad Devices and is available to all Airwave Networks Customers in April 2013.
