SOUTHFIELD, MI, October 27, 2010 (Press-News.org) Ciena Healthcare Management, the largest privately owned manager and operator of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Michigan, has announced the appointment of Teri Emrich as Director of Census Development. The announcement was made by Ciena Healthcare Chief Operating Officer Kristine Halsey.
In this newly created position at Ciena Healthcare, Emrich provides support and training to Directors of Admissions and Marketing, conducts market feasibility studies and market analyses and serves as the liaison between the home office and all 35 Ciena Healthcare communities in Michigan and Connecticut.
"We are very pleased to announce Teri's appointment at Ciena Healthcare and the creation of this position," said Halsey. "Teri has nearly 20 years experience in the healthcare industry. Her knowledge and skill set will benefit Ciena residents and employees and result in ongoing, proactive dialogue between potential patients and residents, our communities and the home office."
Prior to becoming Director of Census Development, Emrich served as Admissions Director at Ciena Healthcare's Autumnwood of Livonia community. She also held positions with prominent long-term care providers including skilled nursing sales and marketing and manager of market development.
Emrich earned her BS in Psychology from Central Michigan University. She is a Dale Carnegie Course graduate.
