Master Photographer/Artist Harvey Lloyd Reveals Mysterious Quantum Reality Through New Digital Photography Paintings

Science and Art Collide to Re-Invent the Way We See Our World

2013-04-05
SANTA FE, NM, April 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) Multiple award winning photographer/artist Harvey Lloyd along with Harvey Lloyd Studios presents his latest series which captures our world through the lens of imagination and quantum mechanics.

Representative of humanity's growing desire to witness our world through new eyes, this work has been chosen for display in a show entitled "Las Vegas Deconstructed" at Artistic Lifestyles Art Gallery in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 13, 2013. The series shows the capacity to progress, through digital paintings, our world of contemporary art, blending both realism and abstract impressionism in a complimentary fashion. He does this through a method he has invented using a complex single exposure process.

According to Mr. Lloyd as stated in his new eBook, The Quantum Ghost, "The camera transformed by digital technology enables a viewer to see what was previously "invisible." Reality must be reexamined. The underlying manifestations of the universe beg to be gazed upon and all those who are forever young in heart and spirit will audaciously voyage to the frontiers of the unexplored infinite world of light."

"Harvey Lloyd has entered a new creative phase of his life. He is using his photographic mind and his computer skills to create images that are unlike anything ever seen before. He is exploring new horizons in the creative world and producing spectacular creations that dazzle the eye." -DAVID FINN, Chairman & President, Ruder Finn.

Mr. Lloyd is a pioneer in aerial and adventure photography, having traveled over a million and a half miles during photo missions on the seven continents. He has hung out of helicopters and light planes over the Panama Canal, Istanbul, Antarctica, Rio and Manhattan, and flown "The Dead Man's Curve" from Hong Kong, Botswana and Ayers Rock to Venice, Israel, Monaco and Tahiti. Artist/photographer Lloyd's motto is "If your life bores you, risk it".

Awards

Mr. Lloyd is a multiple award winner in almost every category of the visual arts through his aerial photography, picture books, documentary films and multi-screen shows. Included in these are the Pacific Area Travel Association's Gold medal for photography of China, The Art Director's Club Gold and Silver medals for the Royal Viking Line advertising campaign, a Cine Golden Eagle, a Mercurio d'Oro from the Venice Industrial Film Festival for PORTRAIT OF A RAILROAD shown at MOMA, NYC, and the Grand Award—Photo Essays from the German magazine Bilderzeit.
