A.M.T. & Associates Becomes Russell Bedford Member Firm in Bangkok

Russell Bedford global audit network upgrades Thai accounting, management and tax services firm to full membership

LONDON, ENGLAND, April 06, 2013 (Press-News.org) A.M.T. & Associates (AMT), Bangkok, Thailand, has been confirmed as a full member of the Russell Bedford global network of CPA firms.

AMT was founded in 1982 and became a correspondent firm of Russell Bedford International in 2006. It is now one of the strongest local organisations providing professional services to business and government in Thailand. It has three partners and more than 80 personnel.

The firm's managing partner, Prof. Emeritus Kesree Narongdej, is a well-known figure in the Thai business and academic communities. She was president of the Federation of Accounting Professions under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand (2001-2011); she is a past-president of the Institute of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Thailand, and has also been a council member of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants.

Audit services are the cornerstone of the practice. AMT is one of just 21 auditing firms on the approved list of Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission for the provision of audit and assurance service to publicly listed companies.
