Stoneham Martial Arts School Announces 1st Degree Black Belt Belt Test Promotion

STONEHAM, MA, April 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Body Mind Systems Training Center at 263 Main Street, Stoneham, Massachusetts announces that one of its adult students, Joanne Sankus of Woburn, recently passed her 1st Degree Black Belt Test on March 23, 2013.

During her test, she demonstrated her skill and understanding of forms and movements from Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Bagua Zhang, Kom Do (samurai sword), Aikido/Hapkido, Ship Pal Gye (traditional Chinese weapons), Udo (Judo), Kong Su (karate/taekwondo/kempo), and self-defense and sparring. These styles of martial arts encompass the major principles behind any martial art style around the world.

Adult students training in Body Mind Systems not only use martial arts training for the benefits of physical health and self-defense but, more importantly, the application of martial arts in life through the utilization of better human understanding, willpower, patience, communication, focus, discipline, decision-making and the ability to take action.

The mental strength from martial arts training helps the individual attain any goal and success they want in life. They also learn about the medicinal use of martial arts on the human anatomy to increase longevity, prevent and rehabilitate muscle and joint injuries, improve breathing and organ function, and strengthen the immune system.
