Montessori International School Hosts Free Open House April 27
Parents interested in learning more about Montessori education are invited to a free open house, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Montessori International School, 2401 E. Brown Road in Mesa.

Parents interested in learning more about Montessori education are invited to a free open house, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Montessori International School, 2401 E. Brown Road in Mesa.In addition to tours of the campusl and showcasing examples of the student's work, the school's AMI-certified Montessori instructors will explain the basics of Montessori education and why the curriculum has been so successful with children for more than 100 years. There will also be hands-on art and science activities for visiting children to enjoy.
Montessori International School includes: a toddler house for babies 4 to 18 months; a toddler community for tots 18 months to 2 ½ years; three primary classes for children ages 2 ½ to 6; lower elementary for students 6 to 9 and upper elementary for youth 9 to 14.

MIS is an AMI-certified Montessori school in Mesa. The school currently occupies two campuses located on Gilbert Road and Brown Road, a toddler community next to the Brown Road campus (opened in 2003), and classrooms in Gilbert on Gilbert Road south of Elliot Road.
