Grand Slamm Records Signs 1st Female R&B Vocalist To Multi-Record Deal
Our label embraces Detroit's indie R&B scene with open arms and it's Tamara Jewell's time to shine.

Grand Slamm Records proudly announces Tamara Jewell as the 1st female R&B vocalist signed to their independent label. Tamara originally hails from Dayton, Ohio and is currently performing all over Detroit packing venues such as UDetroit Cafe, Music Hall Jazz Cafe, and Prive with her sultry sweet voice, just to name a few.Barely waiting for the ink to dry Grand Slamm Records already has the ball rolling for Tamara Jewell; she is currently working with the label's exclusive producers, a vocal coach and artist development team to record her debut album, which is yet to be named. She is also studying for an upcoming lead role in the highly anticipated Detroit stage play "Entangled" written by Richard A. Bass and directed by Melissa Talbot.
The aspiring young R&B singer/actress not only sings and acts, but she also writes her own music as well. Grand Slamm Records owner Fran Boyd states "Tamara is a gifted R&B vocalist with a highly marketable sound; signing her was a no brainer and we look forward to a bright future with her as one of our artists". Ms. Boyd also shared that Grand Slamm will soon be releasing a single to give fans a little taste of what they can expect coming up from Tamara and her debut album.
