Labor Board's Poster Rule Struck Down by D.C. Court of Appeals
Labor Law Center, a trusted online source and marketplace for business compliance solutions, announces the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit struck down the National Labor Relations Board's rule requiring millions of employers to conspicuously display the 11x17 inch notice informing workers of their right to form a union. The three-judge panel of the court said that the poster violates employers' free speech rights by compelling them to display the poster or be subject to government citations for failure to comply with the labor law.
