It is a fast moving, can't-put-it-down story that captures your interest and charms your romantic side.
In this first novel set in the 1960's, Ron Hanlon calls upon his own life experiences, and a vivid imagination, to bring to life Alex Cord a young man driven to make it big in the love and relationships. It is a fast moving, can't-put-it-down story that captures your interest and charms your romantic side.a new procedure for petroleum industry at that time. Coming from a well-known family and with a striking appearance and "Southern Gentleman" charm, Alex is a walking woman magnet who sweeps them off their feet. Over the course of the book, Alex meets, often beds, then leaves or loses several women who help him build the character he would become. Finally, he acknowledges his mistakes and vows to be a better man for the woman he loves and plans to share the rest of his life with.
Set in locations as diverse as Southern Gentleman" charm, Alex is a walking woman magnet "Hearts Can Change in Time" offers the reader a perspective into the life of an ambitious young man whose focus is to be the most successful oil mogul in the South. During that pursuit, Alex meets and seduces Jessica while both are still in college. His other relationships include good friend, Dianna, Becky, a woman who knows what she wants, and Constance who bounces in and out of his life. However, his true love is Dorothy, a woman he tragically loses. Alex Cord may be cast as a scoundrel who makes love then moves on, but he is also a man of character to which the reader can relate.
Raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ron Hanlon learned about the petroleum business from his grandfather, and aviation with his father and brother. A long-term marriage taught him the difference between love and lovemaking. As a Viet Nam veteran, he saw death, felt fear and experienced heroism first hand. Hanlon calls upon life experience and hobbies of flying, sailing and ocean cruising to develop the atmosphere encountered in the story of Alex Cord in "Hearts Can Change in Time".
