GLASGOW, SCOTLAND, May 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) Staff at 1Call Direct celebrate as they raised over GBP40,000 for charities through a series of events in 2012.
This year the team are already on track to beat last year's total and are working hard to make sure this momentum continues. It has been decided that the company will donate larger amounts to a smaller group of charities for 2013.
This year's allocated charities are Great Ormond Street Hospital, Cancer Research UK, The Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust and the 1Call Direct administration and support team are continuing on from last year to raise money for Yorkhill Children's Foundation.
"We care a great deal about giving back to the community. A business is only as strong as the community that surrounds and supports it and I believe that investing in charities is like making an investment towards a better future for your employees and your customers," commented Paul Jones, Owner of 1Call Direct.
"I'd like to thank everyone who played a part in making last year such a success, we are looking forward to breaking last year's record and it wouldn't be possible without the team's passion and effort," added Jones.
This year's charities were selected by the team for significant reasons. Watch out for positive updates on 2013's figures.
