SMYNRA, GA, May 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Lowry is best-known for co-writing and performing the song "Mary, Did You Know?" This popular Christmas song has been performed by more than 30 artists, including Cee Lo Green, Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd. He performed with the Gaither Vocal Band for 13 years (1988-2001), which was the longest tenure in the group's history other than Bill Gaither himself. He rejoined the group in 2009. In addition, Lowry has recorded 12 albums, both music and comedy. He is currently represented by Fay Shedd, Artist Direction Agency.
Whitmire is a self-proclaimed Christian pianist who has released several award-winning CDs throughout his career. His 2009 album, Joy Comes in the Morning, received a Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year. In addition, he has been part of the music ministry at Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta for more than 30 years. He also performs with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Bill and Gloria Gaither Homecomings, amongst other groups.
