This 20 year veteran stylist is now ready to pop the Champagne and is inviting all of her friends, clients and future fans to her first anniversary Celebration and Client Appreciation event on November 6, 2010 at HairPlaay Studio.

2010-11-03
LOS ANGELES, CA, November 03, 2010 (Press-News.org) Anyone would agree that running a successful business is tough but opening and running a very successful business during one of the greatest recessions takes a very special entrepreneur. Celebrity stylist and entrepreneur Deana Reed opened her doors a year ago and her salon, HairPlaay Studio is now one of LA's chicest salons catering to the Hollywood crowd. How did she did persevere to create a top salon? "The first few months of running any business is hard but I knew I was offering the best services to people at the best prices," says Deana. "At the end of the day, you have to love what you do and I genuinely do."

This 20 year veteran stylist is now ready to pop the Champagne and is inviting all of her friends, clients and future fans to her first anniversary Celebration and Client Appreciation event on November 6, 2010 at HairPlaay Studio. "This is a really big day for all of us. Without our loyal clientele, we never would have been able to grow to a grand total of 7 seasoned staff members and expand our service offering beyond hairstyling to include customized spa services (such as facials, body wraps, waxings and massages)."

What are the keys to her lasting success? Deana credits her success to honesty, integrity, dedication, flexibility and communication. Deana says that she was born to style hair, "I remember playing with my daddy's Afro when I was five. By the time I was in high school, I already "owned" my own hair styling business. I was charging the local kids $5 a haircut and their parents loved it. Fast forward and I have an amazing career that I love." The fun-loving and creative businesswoman has been noticed for her success as an often sought after stylist and was most recently asked to create one of the most recognizable hair pieces in the world. "No, not Donald Trump," Deana laughs, "I was recently asked to put together the wig for Kid of KidNPlay. He is such a great actor and comedienne and overall, just wonderful to work with." Fans of Kid (and Deana), can check out her work on TV 1.

The experienced businesswoman and noted stylist was also recently recognized as one of the best in the business by BET Networks. Deana's fans can catch her and her experienced team in action for an episode of "My Black is Beautiful". Be sure to check out the BET's website for date of show. "I always enjoy the opportunity to showcase the great team I have. At the end of the day, you have to work with people you genuinely like and admire. I have worked with so many amazing people in this industry, from Jada Pinkett-Smith to Emilio Estevez. I have been very blessed and I am looking forward to celebrating our anniversary - I might even take the day off!"

So come and celebrate on November 6th from 7p.m. to 12 a.m. The anniversary event will include a top LA DJ, food and beverages, and a prize raffle to promote Cancer Awareness. Other businesses are joining Deana's efforts to support Cancer Awareness by donating their products and services. Supporters include: Hula Girl Beverages (www.hulagirl.com), VIE Water (www.viewater.org) and Unique Feesiques Urban Fitcamp (www.uniquefeesiques.com).
