NEW YORK, NY, June 18, 2013 (Press-News.org) ArtRoom Designz has developed GoMobile an education management smart device app that gives parents, students and educators of the Cliffside Park School District (CPSD), one-touch access to school-related information and notifications at their fingertips. The app has been adopted by six New Jersey schools and is revolutionizing communication inside and outside of the classroom.
Education and Technology are becoming increasingly linked as more and more smart devices make their way into schools. While many studies have shown that Technology in the classroom helps students stay engaged, 25-year-old, Art Room Designz developer Tomo Marinkovic and his business partner Ignacio Nunez, took this concept a step further, when they set out to create a quick and simple, free and on-the-go educational management tool for parents, students and educators.
Inspired by his own experiences and his love for his alma mater, Cliffside High School, Marinkovic was conscious of the connection between schools and families, and was aware of how technology has the power to reinforce existing communications and constructing new ones to ultimately improve academic achievement and school life for students.
"Parents are busy today"
Spawned the desire to simplify access to school information and events, he set out to create an app that's conscious of the heightened expectations and responsibilities of a modern world.
Tomo said, "The CPSD app creates a closer and more efficient communication layer among students, parents and schools." This app has the ability to revolutionize traditional channels of communication and is a much anticipated solution to traditional modes of interaction.
The app lets users access any recent announcements like weather-related closings, changes and updates to regular school hours and even lets users view sports schedules, Parent-Teacher meeting times and more.
Users receive push notifications set by school administrators, allowing for seamless, up-to-date communication to ensure everyone is on the same page. The app also features a "Gallery" showcasing the highlights of events, competitions and other activities in the school district. The app even features a QR scanner, giving users faster access to information anytime, anywhere. CPSD can easily be shared via its "Tell A Friend" feature through Facebook, Twitter, Email and SMS texts.
Michael J. Romagnino, superindent of schools, states, "The App is a way of keeping our educational community informed of the many happenings that take place each day as well as calendar, athletic and contact information."
Parents, students and educators at the six New Jersey schools are embracing this technology that allows them to communicate in a way that wasn't possible before. The benefits of this convenient tool will help students excel and allow parents and educators to better monitor students' performance and progress.
