HARROGATE, ENGLAND, November 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) Ashworth Law has launched a Free Time Clinic, where members of the public can seek expert legal advice without paying for the privilege.
These legal surgeries are being held between 3pm and 6pm every Thursday, at its Grove Park Court offices, when two experts in civil law will be on hand to speak to members of the public in confidence for up to 30 minutes.
Ashworth Law co-founder Mathew Cobley said: "Lawyers are notorious for starting the charging clock as soon as a client either comes to see them or speaks to them over the telephone.
"We are breaking the mould by giving our time for free. Clients are able to drop into our offices and, for up to 30 minutes, speak to one of the team about issues of a civil matter.
"We are expert in a number of key areas, including personal injury, family matters, wills and probate and recovering money for clients mis-sold financial policies. No appointments are necessary.
"Already the Free Time Clinic is proving to be very popular and we have offered advice on a whole raft of issues."
Ashworth Law is one of the region's fastest growing law firms, employing a team of nearly 40 across Harrogate and at its recently opened Manchester office.
The firm operates in two distinct areas of expertise, 'Ashworth for You' specialising in civil litigation, family law and personal injury and 'Ashworth for Business' dedicated to debt collection, financial claims and corporate benefits.
The Free Time clinic is held between 3pm and 6pm every Thursday at the firm's Harrogate office, located at Unit 7 Grove Park Court.
