READING, ENGLAND, November 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Reading based Jargon Public Relations and the agency's client, IT security risk consultancy Pentura have raised GBP3,163.94 for the charity Action for Children by sleeping rough as part of the national event Byte Night.
Byte Night 2010 took place on Friday 8th October and involved six of the Jargon PR and Pentura team sleeping rough for one night in Reading, Berkshire. All monies raised go directly to support the most vulnerable and neglected children in the UK.
Steve Smith, managing director of Pentura said, "In these difficult financial times it is important we all continue to do what we can for those less fortunate. I can think of no better way of helping young children who are forced to sleep rough than by experiencing it myself."
Simon Corbett, managing director of Jargon PR commented, "We are proud to have raised over three thousand pounds for Action for Children and to have experienced a taster of what many young children face each night. We will continue to support Action for Children in the coming years."
