Tomas Westerholm Honored for Excellence in Architecture and Design Software
2014-02-24
HELSINKI, FINLAND, February 24, 2014 (Press-News.org) Tomas Westerholm, Chief Executive Officer of 3D Render Oy has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in architecture and design software.

Mr. Westerholm has 16 years of experience in architecture and design and as chief executive officer of 3D Render Oy. There, he is an expert in the transformation of architectural designs into visual interpretations. 3D Render Oy is an architectural and design firm that provides 3-D models and animations. Products include a visualizer that offers a leading solution for designers choosing between shapes, materials and colors, such as those building mass customizable housing apartments. Their products help designers answer the question, 'How would my final choices look in reality?'"

He became involved in his profession because of his prolonged interest in computer software and graphics. He progressed naturally in the field after starting his own business. His success is due to his education, a Master's Degree in Architecture from Aalto-yliopisto, Finland, and turning new technical applications into business opportunities. He has been producing visual information for design firms for an extensive period of time. He also has two other related lines of business, Skyhigh and Renderlights. Skyhigh enables visual task management on tablets in contrast to text driven solutions. Renderlights offers advanced virtual reality software, supporting real time global illumination on an easy to use interface. Renderlights 1.7 comes with direct Oculus Rift virtual helmet integration for architects and designers to instantly immerse themselves into designs review of their own 3-D models.

An asset to his profession, he was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding. He intends to use his collective experiences in three businesses to experience continued growth and success, and to become a recognized leader in the architectural industry. Outside of his professional career, he supports charities such as UNICEF and enjoys traveling, abstract painting and spending time with his family in his leisure time.
