Project for Kids, Presented by A1 Garage Door Service, Benefiting Banner Children's Raises $60,000

A1 Garage Doors Donates $4,500 to help families of ill children in addition to being presenting sponsor of the live radiothon that raised $60.000

TEMPE, AZ, March 16, 2014 (Press-News.org) Project For Kids, Benefiting Banner Children's, raised over $60,000 on February 15th at Chandler Fashion Center. Project for Kids presented by A1 Garage Service was a five hour, eight station radiothon and fundraising event developed by Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. Proceeds from Project for Kids support a wide range of pediatric programs and services including Banner Children's three Level III neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), emergency medicine, oncology services, cardiac care, rehabilitation and ensuring pediatric patients and their families receive the extra support they need during hospitalization.

The five-hour broadcast was hosted by on-air personalities from all eight Clear Channel Phoenix radio stations. Special guests including physicians, caregivers, patients and families from Banner Children's provided first-hand accounts of Banner Children's lifesaving care and pediatric programs. A1 Garage Door Service was pleased to support this event and made a donation in the amount of $4,500.
