High School Friends Thrilled to Be Homeowners and Neighbors Raising their Children Together in Homes Built by Pardee in Master-Planned Canyon Hills

Pardee Homes has four new home neighborhoods in Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore, where families are discovering floor plans and pricing that meets their needs. This growing master-planned community features new homes priced from the low $200,000s.

2014-04-03
RIVERSIDE, CA, April 03, 2014 (Press-News.org) Russell Miller and Matt Maisenbacher, best friends since high school, are creating new memories and excited to have their four kids grow up together now that they are both homeowners in the same family-oriented neighborhood in Canyon Hills. Both have purchased brand new homes in this thriving Lake Elsinore master-planned community and are very happy to be living within a minute of each other.

"We are so excited that our kids will grow up together," said Miller. "You can't put a value on that. Matt and I met as freshmen in high school and my wife Erin and I encouraged the Maisenbachers to look for a home here in Canyon Hills. We bought a big Plan 7X with a bonus room at LivingSmart Homes Canyon Hills and Matt and Vanessa bought at Meadow Ridge, just down the street. We are looking forward to making more memories together."

The Millers love their new home with a big backyard, providing lots of space for their active three-year old son to play. The bonus room is a playroom, decorated with Disney Pixar movie posters and filled with toys. Erin Miller is able to stay home with the children and is thrilled to have a spare bedroom for guests and a big walk-in closet in the master bedroom.

"We didn't think we'd ever be able to buy a new home," said Miller who moved from Orange County. "We looked in Corona first but fell in love with the Canyon Hills community and are so happy to have a home in the Menifee school district, which was very important to us. I feel like a millionaire in this home and feel so comfortable knowing we have energy-saving features, shopping, parks and good friends and neighbors nearby."

Matt and Vanessa Maisenbacher and their two sons moved to Canyon Hills from Riverside and are pleased to be among other young families with children. The allure of having a brand new home in a nice, quiet community was an added bonus to living near the Miller family.

"It's a terrific community with very friendly neighbors," said Maisenbacher. "Our Meadow Ridge home is great, especially the kitchen, fireplace and the luxury of having four bedrooms. And with all the standard energy-saving features our energy bills are half of what we were paying in our last home."

There are currently four new home neighborhoods by Pardee available for sale in Canyon Hills including LivingSmart Homes Parkside, starting in the low $200,000s. LivingSmart Homes Hillside, priced from the high $200,000s, and Meadow Ridge, priced from the mid $300,000s, offer 10 additional floor plans with both single and two-story homes. Meadow Glen, Pardee's newest neighborhood of move-up homes featuring the versatile GenSmart Suites, celebrated its grand opening on March 22nd.

All new homes built by Pardee Homes feature the LivingSmart package of standard and optional features that increase energy-efficiency, save water and foster healthy living. Standard energy-efficient features range from Energy Star rated dishwashers and low-E spectrally selective glass windows to fluorescent lights in select recessed cans, dimmer switches, occupancy sensors, and radiant barrier roof sheathing. Energy efficiency in a LivingSmart home exceeds California's Title 24 criteria, already the toughest in the nation.

Ideally located west of Canyon Lake in the foothills of Lake Elsinore, the award-winning Canyon Hills community offers residents neighborhood parks, schools and convenient shopping, dining and services at Canyon Hills Marketplace. Canyon Hills is also home to Lake Elsinore's newest regional sports facility, Canyon Hills Community Park. This brand new 18-acre park includes two playgrounds, a children's splash pad, two soccer fields, a baseball and youth league field, a basketball court, dog park, and more.

Additional recreational activities are available to residents of Canyon Hills at Creekside Recreation Center which has a junior Olympic-size pool, clubhouse, playground and basketball court. A second private recreation center with a beautiful swimming pool and spa is located in Foothill Village. Canyon Hills' most significant feature however, is its preserved open space, totaling more than 900 acres, and its proximity to other popular recreational activities, such as skydiving and wake boarding.

For more information, visit http://www.pardeehomes.com or call (951) 264-0127. To visit Canyon Hills from I-15 exit at Railroad Canyon Road in Lake Elsinore and go east approximately 2.5 miles.
