2014-04-18
NEW YORK, NY, April 18, 2014 (Press-News.org) Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is inaugurating a new Assessment Consulting Company called Assessment Plus Higher Education Consulting Services. The firm will be based in New York, NY. Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is an established academic who says her new business will contribute to the learning process. The Department of Education of the State of New York has given its approval for her to proceed with developing the firm.

Through Assessment Plus Higher Education Consulting Services, Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger expects to continue the innovative educational techniques she has developed during her career. "The potential to help others continues to grow every day," she observed.

Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger has held a Yale Fellowship in Teaching and Learning, and a Leadership Fellowship at The Leadership Institute at Connecticut Colleges. She is also a member of the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, Association of American Colleges and Universities, and has been a member of the Connecticut Consortium for Enhancing Learning and Teaching.

With such a full resume, Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is confident her company can make a major impact. Once Assessment Plus, Higher Education Consulting Services officially launches, Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger wants to have a positive impact not only in the way students are assessed in the classroom, but also in the way institutions of higher learning are assessed as a whole. With her background in education, Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger understands the challenges in today's classroom, such as using technology to promote a positively charged learning environment inside and outside of class.

Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is a well-known academic and administrator. Through her new assessment consulting company, Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger hopes to provide support to students seeking to expand their horizons, explore new ideas, and enrich their knowledge.

Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is a hard worker and passionate educator, and her commitment and professionalism has been recognized with the Governor's Service Award, Excellence in Academic Advising, a Merit Award, and more. "She is completely dedicated to everything she does," a colleague acknowledged. She is effective, he went on, because "she works with everyone individually as though they're the only person in the world."

Much of her research, experience, and writing centers on the theory of multiple intelligence, which groups intelligence into nine "modalities," rather than a single ability. Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger says that understanding multiple intelligences is critical to success in the classroom. She also advocates the use of humor in higher education, and has written numerous articles and essays defending this assertion.

When her assessment company launches, Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger understands that she will have more responsibility than ever before. "This is an exciting time for any new business," Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger says. Yet she is looking forward to continuing to balance her life. Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is a family-oriented person who believes that family always comes first, no matter how heavy the demands at work.

For Katerina Andriotis, it's the personal human-to-human connections that matter in life and make interconnection worthwhile. Perhaps this is what distinguishes Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger as a higher education professional. Regardless, it is clear that Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger will have a major positive impact when her assessment company launches in New York.

About: Katerina Andriotis-Baitinger is a higher education professional lauded for her published essays and articles.
