PRINCETON, NJ, December 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) This holiday season, Children's Futures (CF) is sponsoring its 10th annual toy and book drive to provide gifts to deserving children throughout the greater Trenton area. In honor of 10 years of successful holiday drives, CF's 2010 goal is to collect 10,000 new toys and books.
Kicking off on December 1, 2010, new toys and books can be donated at collection bins placed throughout Mercer County. Some locations include Mrs. G's Appliances in Lawrenceville, Classic Book Shop in Trenton and all nine Mercer County Roma Bank locations. A full list of donation sites is provided, below. The drive culminates with an evening of celebration at the Trenton Marriott on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - midnight. Tickets for the Holiday Party cost $10 with a toy or book and $20 without. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by contacting Children's Futures.
"Through our annual toy and book drive, Children's Futures focuses on helping families who may otherwise go without during the holidays," explained Floyd K. Morris, Jr. President of Children's Futures. "We are always humbled by the outpouring of gracious donations by our neighbors and friends."
