GridBuddy: an award-winning cloud application for the Force.com platform

AppBuddy's new product GridBuddy #4 in Hack into Dreamforce Challenge

2011-01-08
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, January 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Salesforce.com announced that AppBuddy's new application GridBuddy was recognized as one of the top 4 installed applications in the 'Hack into Dreamforce' contest. Awards were given to applications with the highest number of customer AppExchange software installs between 9/20/10 and 11/30/10 leading up to the annual Dreamforce conference.

GridBuddy is a 100% native Force.com application that allows users to edit multiple related Salesforce objects using an Excel-like view. GridBuddy has a clean, simple-to-use interface for users to view one parent object with multiple children, create editable list views, and edit child and parent data on one screen. These features increase data integrity, save users time, and greatly reduce the number of clicks required to edit records. With the addition of GridBuddy, Salesforce users have a comprehensive solution that includes best practices for data management.

Comments on the news:

"GridBuddy solves a major problem that SFDC customers using CRM and Force.com have -- data explosion across multiple objects" - AppExchange review by J. Yoshimura

"I am able to save hours of time by editing my data directly inline in Salesforce (as opposed to exporting and then re-importing)" - AppExchange review by K. Wong
