MADRID, SPAIN, January 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) The 80s-infused pop stylings of Hurts can be heard in Madrid in February when the duo take to the stage at the Joy Eslava.
Fans staying at Madrid hotels may want to act quickly to pick up tickets for the group's performance, as they have received a lot of critical acclaim in recent months and have just sold out gigs in London and Brighton in the UK.
Hurts are in the midst of a global tour that is seeing the pair take in destinations as diverse as Tallinn in Estonia, Osaka in Japan and Finnish capital Helsinki.
This is a testament to the international appeal of their music, with tracks such as Wonderful Life and Better than Love being played all over the world.
The synth-pop group, made up of Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson, will perform in Madrid on February 13th and they recently spoke to Spanish newspaper El Pais regarding the risk they took with a viral campaign that saw their identities remain secret for some time.
Lead singer Hutchcraft was quoted as saying: "The public could have turned their backs on us due to the lack of information. It was a challenge to let people imagine the rest."
Tickets for the show cost EUR23 (GBP19.35) and the music is due to start at 20:15 local time.
