DocuSource Supports the Coalition to Unchain Dogs

Provides Printing Services for Kickoff Event

2011-02-04
February 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) DocuSource of NC (www.docusourceofnc.com), a marketing services provider of printing and communication materials as well as Web portals for document storage and ordering, continues its dedication to community involvement by supporting the Coalition to Unchain Dogs (www.unchaindogs.net). DocuSource provided printing services for a kickoff event to unveil the organization's 2010-2011 public service announcement campaign.

"We are very excited to kick off the new PSA campaign that is made possible by our wonderful partners in the Triangle community," says Amanda Arrington, Coalition to Unchain Dogs founder. "As one of those partners, DocuSource has been a great supporter of our work and continues to be very generous in helping us achieve our goals."

The Coalition to Unchain Dogs is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to improving the welfare of dogs that are continuously living outdoors on chains. The organization has freed more than 800 dogs from their chains in the Triangle area since March 2007. This is accomplished by volunteers providing free fences for chained dogs. In addition, the coalition provides free spay/neuter services for every dog it helps. It has inspired the formation of similar fence-building groups all over the country.

"As a dog lover and dog owner, I value the importance of providing dogs an open space to run free," says Kathy Murchison, DocuSource president and CEO. "The organization continues to do amazing work to ensure dogs remain unchained, and we are proud to support their efforts."

The kickoff event to unveil the PSA campaign was held at the Carolina Theatre in Durham on January 27, 2011. A team of talented students and professionals from the American Advertising Federation Raleigh-Durham chapter created the campaign in support of the Coalition to Unchain Dogs.
