FitTogether.com Re-Launches Website With Better-Than-Ever Features, As The Result Of Two Key Investors

The investors, who made buying the FitTogether.com name possible, both come from both a business and fitness background

2011-02-04
SAN DIEGO, CA, February 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) FitTogether.com (http://www.fittogether.com), the premier social networking platform that brings local fitness communities together and provides useful tools necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle, is crediting two major investors with the re-launch of its new website, features and upcoming marketing strategy.

In early 2010, both investors saw the FiTogether.com and were on board for the site re-launch at the start of 2011.

The first investor has a 30-year military background and currently works as a day trader and investment strategist, while the other has most of his experience in finance with Accenture, and now owns his own personal fitness/boxing gym.

"Both parties were intrigued by the business plan and uniqueness of FitTogether.com," said Scott Bowen, Founder and CEO of FitTogether.com. "Once they heard what I had planned for the future of the site, they both jumped on board immediately. The potential for growth and revenue on a site like this is enormous with the right people behind it."
The FitTogether.com site also enables members to search for others with similar fitness goals, interests and specific areas of expertise, while facilitating the interaction between members through its various communication channels.

"The funds went to the revamping of the website. The cash injection allowed us to purchase the domain name we originally wanted for the site, http://www.fittogether.com, and also develop a brand new site that has all the features and functions a social networking should have," said Bowen. "The injection worked, as I am now getting phone calls and emails from other potential partners and investors since the launch of the new site."

FitTogether.com is free to use for all members and is utilized by many fitness professionals to market themselves, in order to expand their clientele and business. Professionals may offer services, give expert advice, and provide information on any of the site's discussion boards or member groups.

Since the new site has been released to the public, statistics are showing that the average user spends over 40 minutes on the site and is browsing close to 20 pages per visit. That is an increase of 10 more pages per visit and over triple the time spent on the site, than with the previous version.
