The event sees five concerts take place from Wednesday April 6th to Tuesday April 19th at venues across the capital, including the Barbican Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.

One of the most famous acts on the bill is the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club featuring Omara Portuondo, boasting several musicians from the original, influential Cuban band.

If people want a different take on the Latino genre, then the Yasmin Levy gig may be a better option.

She sings in a Ladino style - a combination of Judeo and Spanish - and has just released a new album this year, so the audience can expect to hear plenty of fresh material.

Muchachito, Ojos de Brujo and the Mexican Institute of Sound are the other three headliners at La Linea.

Tickets for the shows are individually priced, with the action kicking off at 19:00 or 19:30 BST each day.
