CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA, April 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Humpty, Jemima, Little Ted and the rest of their toy friends are heading to Cairns next month for Play School Live.

The stage version of the much-loved Australian children's programme will see kids participate by joining in with their favourite nursery rhymes and interactive songs.

Presenters Abi Tucker and Alex Papps and the rest of the stars of the show will give the youngsters a helping hand.

The production sees Prince Big Ted and friends set off in search of a royal castle. They travel through a world filled with songs and stories, designed to delight and captivate Play School fans young and old.

Two performances will take place at the Cairns Civic Theatre on May 3rd. The first is scheduled to start at 10:00 local time and the second kicks off at 12:00.

Both shows last approximately 40 minutes.

Adults and children can get in for AU$19.80 per person, although there is no charge for youngsters under the age of 12 months.

The venue is located on the corner of Florence and Sheridan streets, just north of the Cairns central business district.
