LONDON, ENGLAND, April 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) An Evening with David Sedaris gives people the chance to enjoy the humour of one of the US's greatest modern writers in London.

He will perform at Cadogan Hall on May 27th and 28th 2011, offering his intelligent and witty take on modern life.

People may know Sedaris from his essay collections, such as Me Talk Pretty One Day and Dress Your Family In Corduroy and Denim, which have gone on to become bestsellers in the US.

His latest book, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary, was released last year.

Describing his talent in an official statement, the organisers said: "The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today."

Tickets to see Sedaris on stage cost GBP30.

The show begins at 19:30 BST on both dates. People can reach Cadogan Hall by taking the London Underground to Sloane Square.
