Skin Matters Medical Centre Announces Launch of Soft Lift Ultra , a Non-Surgical Face Lift In A Day

Combination of new focused ultrasound technology, Ulthera, Botox Cosmetic and Juvederm Fillers, happy patients are walking away from one hour treatments with immediate results that will further improve over the next 14 days.

2011-06-03
VANCOUVER, BC, June 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) In a Vancouver interview, Dr. Charles Cheng MD of Skin Matters discussed the synergistic effect of combining the already successful Soft Lift (combining Botox and Juvederm) with the Ultherapy treatment using Ulthera's focused ultrasound technology. While Botox can provide relief from dynamic wrinkles and Juvederm replenishes lost skin or facial volume, the issue of loss of skin tightness and collagen does not improve significantly. With the addition of Ulthera, it is able to offer a significant additional lifting and tightening of the skin. In addition, with the added increase in collagen production 60-90 days after treatment, the skin further improves in texture and elasticity.

Soft Lift Ultra is the use of Soft Lift combined with Ulthera's tissue tightening. Most patients can complete the entire procedure within an hour and return to daily activities with very little down time. As with Juvederm, the improvement after Ulthera is immediate in most individuals. However, further improvement by new collagen can be seen up to 90 days later.

Dr. Charles Cheng predicts with the advancement in technology, non-surgical intervention is now able to offer individuals a safe and effective alternative to surgical face lifts. However, Dr. Cheng stresses that every individual's situation is very different. There are some benefits that surgical procedures can never achieve while in some special cases, the surgery can offer a quicker solution. Every individual should seek out experienced medical professionals for the best individualized advice.

Background information:

Ulthera is the first and only technology to visualize beneath the skin surface in combination with a non-invasive delivery of energy at depths previously not achieved with lasers or radio frequency. This enables medical professionals to be able to precisely target the skin while looking at the actual target skin in real time. Dr. Charles Cheng explains further, ultra sound energy is different from lasers and radio frequency devices. With Ulthera, ultra sound energy is focused specifically at the 3mm or 4.5 mm depth. This results in the contraction of tissue fibers along with a strong stimulation for collagen production, resulting in a tighter and firmer face or neck. With this advanced technology, when performed by medical professionals, it is able to offer a significant lifting and tightening of the skin and tissues below.

Skin Matters is the first medical facility to offer Ulthera in the Vancouver Lower Mainland in British Columbia and has developed new unique and individualized approach to Ultherapy, offering much improved results.

Soft Lift is use of Botox Cosmetic and Juverderm fillers in combination to achieve excellent rejuvenation results. Both are produced by the largest medical aesthetic company in the world, Allergan.
