Retail Nutrition Franchise Proactively Stops the Growth Spurt

Complete Nutrition Places Emphasis on Franchise Support

2011-06-08
OMAHA, NE, June 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) The good news is that Complete Nutrition has catapulted to over 100 locations in two and a half short years of franchising. The bad news is that any candidates interested in getting into the hot new nutrition supplement franchise will have to wait.

Although Complete Nutrition, the nation's premier franchise specializing in weight loss, sports nutrition and healthy aging products, has been franchising since 2008, the rapidly expanding brand experienced a growth spurt from 19 locations in early 2010 to over 100 stores open today. Future plans call for 160 locations by the end of 2011 in addition to the 164 stores that are currently under development.

"99% of our unprecedented growth over the past few years has been purely organic," said Ryan Zink, President of Complete Nutrition. "In a very short period of time, we have grown our system by word of mouth and referrals from existing successful franchisees—giving us the confidence to invest trust in new candidates that come on board."

The young company prides itself on being proactive as it looks to the future, implementing additional support for existing owners while instilling a system to achieve optimal growth potential. Complete Nutrition is looking to strengthen their system by avoiding the mistakes that other fast-growing companies have made. Zink added, "We would rather grow smart than fast."

Complete Nutrition, whose upscale nutritional supplement stores feature exclusive weight loss and sports nutrition products in a spacious, open and orderly setting, is building a large following through their "consultative" advice from an educated staff which differentiates the franchise from competitors. Most Complete Nutrition stores employ only certified personal trainers, former strength coaches and others experienced in health and fitness who offer knowledgeable advice.

"Seeing our company grow at such a rapid pace is incredibly rewarding," said Cory Wiedel, who founded Complete Nutrition in 2004 in Omaha, NE. "However, we have witnessed other franchise models quickly rise and then fall due to the lack of franchisee support, which is why we have decided to freeze franchise sales for the time being."

While Complete Nutrition is not a manufacturer, the company works directly with doctors, chemists and scientists to help create their formulas for new products. The company offers over 200 different weight-loss, sports nutrition and healthy aging exclusive branded products all sold at a competitive price.

By providing franchisees with a strategic launch formula that includes aggressive local advertising, Complete Nutrition boasts a 100-percent success rate in the system. In fact, according to the latest Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchised stores that had been open the full year saw average sales of just under $900,000 for 2010 .
