BEIJING, CHINA, July 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) The release of Passkey 8.0.3.1 on June 30, 2011 is really good news for worldwide users that it supports hybrid disc and can remove a new DVD copy protection found in "Battle: Los Angeles" (US). This benefits users a lot as Passkey strengthens the decryption power and can be used in a more flexible and user-friendly way.
Passkey 8.0.3.1 Update Detail:
Passkey added support for hybrid disc. Hybrid disc is a single disc which either contains both DVD layer and HD-DVD layer, or DVD layer and Blu-ray layer. Passkey users can choose which layer to be shown according to their needs. Please note one thing that makes this not so perfect -- only certain drives can read both layers of a hybrid disc.
Passkey also added support for a new copy protection, which is found in the DVD releases in US ¨C "Battle: Los Angeles". Passkey always updates its server to ensure that all DVD and Blu-ray protections can be removed, no matter how new they are. Till now, Passkey can remove all known DVD and Blu-ray protections, such as CSS, CPRM, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs, ARccOS, RipGuard, AACS (up to MKB v25), BD+ (up to 10th generation), BD-Live, etc.
Besides the shining features mentioned above, Passkey 8.0.3.1 also updated language files as usual.
