SEATTLE, WA, September 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) The International Academy of Design & Technology in Seattle (IADT-Seattle) is thrilled to present its annual fashion show, IMAGINE! 2010, Sept. 24 from 8:00-9:30 p.m. in the lobby of Seattle's Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street, Seattle, Wash.
"The students have worked hard to produce an amazingly diverse selection of garments. The quality and detail of construction reflects the faculty's support, especially that of Jeanette DeJong," said Monir Zandghoreshi, program chair for fashion design and fashion merchandising at IADT-Seattle. "We have everything from club wear, men's apparel, bridal and formal wear to sportswear, and we'll have some fabulous examples of exquisite costume creation."
In its fifth year, IMAGINE! highlights the work of the fashion design students. Digital media production and graphic design students also play a role in creating the overall theme and ambiance of the show, giving them real-world experience promoting and covering an event in a first-class venue.
For the second year, this red carpet-themed show is directed by Eduardo Khawam. Fabulous Fit of New York, Sewing Machine Service Company of Renton, Wash. will be some of the companies providing prizes for the design winners. For the third year, Evergreen Beauty & Barber College will provide the hair and make-up for the models. John Robert Powers, International and Seattle's Models Guild are also supporting this year's show by providing models.
