LOS ANGELES, CA, July 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Award-winning New York City-bases Pop-Jazz musician Sinem Saniye has delved into the Jazz world for the summer of 2011. Along with a slew of exciting concerts, are a number of firsts.
Sinem Saniye will be performing her first ever, inaugural headlining concert in Turkey, July 26, with renowned musicians Ozan Musluoglu and Ferit Odman in Bodrum Turkey.
Sinem Saniye will also be joining renowned Turkish Jazz musician Kerem Gorsev and his Trio, and legendary performer Fatih Erkoc on stage in Bodrum, Turkey at the Amphitheater as a guest performer. (See http://www.keremgorsev.com/ )
Both Gorsev and Erkoc have a handful of albums under their belt spanning decades of career, and sell out large concerts in Turkey and Europe. Rarely duetting with other artists, makes this occasion even more special.
The concert will be at the Amphitheatre in Bodrum, Turkey, where such highly acclaimed artists as Pink Martini, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, and Gogol Bordello have performed.
Bodrum is a popular resort town located in the south-western part of Turkey. The Bodrum Amphitheatre, an ancient landmark, is a fourth-century B.C. amphitheater in Bodrum, and it is one of the best preserved structures of ancient Halikarnassus. Originally, it was built around 4th C BC during the reign of King Mausolos, in 2nd C AD, during the Roman period, it was enlarged and enriched. Seating about 13.000 spectators the theater dates to the region of Mausolus but with modifications added by the Romans. With rock tombs above, the site provides an unequalled view of the city.
Sinem's concert July 26 will be at the Jazz Club Hotel Zembda in Gumusluk, Bodrum.
On July 25, Sinem will once more share the stage with Fatih Erkoc, at Bodrum's most exclusive venue, the Marina Yacht Club.
