NORTHBROOK, IL, July 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) AmpliVox Sound Systems today unveiled a new series of multimedia work station carts, designed to enhance convenience and flexibility of use for all kinds of presentations. These work stations offer a variety of connectivity and mobility options, in a range of prices to suit any budget.

"Effective presentations require seamless connections between the speaker's message and media," said Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO. "Our innovative new line of presentation carts puts all the necessary tools at the speaker's fingertips. These designs anticipate our customers' needs for versatility, simplicity and professional styling."

The AmpliVox carts work well in all presentation settings, including auditoriums, lecture halls, company training rooms, classrooms, and hotels. The addition of an optional built-in sound system provides amplification to address audiences of up to 1,500 people, in rooms up to 15,000 square feet. Locking doors on most cabinets provide secure, convenient storage for connected A/V equipment.

New AmpliVox products in the Multimedia Work Station line include:

Multimedia Work Station SN3300:

Multimedia Presentation Podium SN3235:

This versatile lectern stand can carry a complete computer-driven presentation system in a minimum space. Outfitted in deluxe, furniture grade laminates, it includes both adjustable interior shelves and an external drop-leaf shelf to organize computers and multimedia devices.

Multimedia Computer Lectern SN3230:

Convenience is paramount with this lectern, which features front and side access doors for easy set-up. Devices can be positioned on a slide-out locking shelf, a drop-leaf external shelf, or two adjustable interior shelves. The 3230 is available in a choice of four attractive wood laminates.

Multimedia Smart Podium SN3430:

For the most flexibility in technology support, the Smart Podium offers a large divided interior compartment with ten space rack mount rails on the left side and PC/storage space on the right. Interior cable passthroughs simplify wiring. The 41" wide desktop with slide-out keyboard drawer provides ample workspace.

Coventry Lectern SN3030:

Versatility meets beautiful contemporary design with this solid hardwood presentation lectern. Available in natural oak, cherry, mahogany or walnut, the Coventry's flat panel design brings a sleek, contemporary look to the boardroom or training room. Double locking cabinet doors provide easy access and security for A/V equipment. Several options allow for a customized package, including a document camera drawer, keyboard drawer, recessed 18" monitor well, LED timer, rack rails for component installation, cooling fan with grille, and split flat or sloped top.

Ambassador Lectern SN3035:

An elegant traditional style in beautiful hardwoods makes the Ambassador a classic choice for boardroom or auditorium. The raised panel design complements the beauty of its natural oak, cherry, mahogany or walnut construction. Inside, two equipment storage bays with locking doors provide storage and security for A/V equipment. Like the Coventry, the Ambassador line can be customized with an array of options to increase its utility.
